Our Story
Cynthia
I’m outgoing, curious, and love turning ordinary moments into little adventures. I laugh a lot, try new things, and balance my pop-girly side with a technical brain. Life feels better when you’re enjoying it, making memories, and sharing it with the people you care about most.

Missael
I’m just a chill guy, more laid-back, go-with-the-flow, and maybe a little awkward at first — but I warm up fast. I like keeping things simple, enjoying the small moments, and I’d do just about anything for the people I love. I might not always be the loudest in the room, but I’m steady, loyal, and an animal lover.
Us
We met in 7th grade at an after school math program, very dorky of us! There were only a few of us, and at first, we were just two kids in the same room. But one day, it changed when we all got together to celebrate Missael’s birthday. A small moment that somehow stayed with us. A few weeks later at a middle school dance, Cynthia asked one of her friends to ask Missael to dance with her. Awkward, a little shy, and very middle school, but the beginning of everything.
And like most middle school relationships, it was sweet, a little dramatic, and not always perfect. We went our separate ways before high school and grew into completely different people, living completely different lives. Yet…we kept finding our way back.
Years later, when we reconnected, it wasn’t a big, perfect moment, it was something quieter. Familiar. Easy. Like no matter how much time had passed, something had always been there.
Since then, we’ve built a life together, through big moments and small ones. From taking a chance and spending a few months in Kansas City for an internship, to learning how to cook meals together. It hasn’t always been easy. We’ve had to grow, learn, and choose each other again and again.
But through every phase, from awkward middle school kids to who we are now, we never really lost each other.
And maybe that’s what makes our story ours. Because love didn’t come into our lives perfectly...it grew with us, changed with us, and stayed. And if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that love can find you anywhere even in a middle school math class and if it’s real, it will always find its way back home 🤍
